Furoshiki and the Japanese Art of Gift Wrapping
£12.99
Tomoko Kakita runs ma space design in London and teaches furoshiki, the Japanese practice of wrapping with a single square of cloth. Her book takes you through 30 wraps, from a simple knot for a bottle or a book to carrying everyday things, with no tape, scissors or paper to throw away.
It is the book that started our own interest in furoshiki, found by chance in a Japanese crafts shop in Seattle.
Hardback, 144 pages, 184 x 134mm. Published by Laurence King.
